Class description: Living the Sweet Life with Diabetes and High Blood Pressure

This is a great class that we offer at Pando. Diabetes and high blood pressure are incredibly common in our society and the treatment usually involves mostly prescription medicines. However, there are so many good things people can do to improve and even reverse these conditions. In my experience as a primary MD, these conditions are particularly sensitive to lifestyle changes and working through emotional or challenging situations. It can be dramatic how these physiologic states can become less severe or even go away when the environment has changed or the inner perception of oneself is improved. It is not a fluke ; it is the natural way. Even more importantly, it is incredible how proud of themselves people feel when they reverse a health condition like diabetes or high blood pressure.

Of course, weight loss helps and exercising can create a major shift -- we very much like to help with these challenges. Resolving a painful state (i.e. back pain, depression or speaking up when you are "bottled up"), always leads to large shifts for the better in regards to blood pressure and sugar. Finding a more peaceful, quieter internal state through our Pando Method leads to large shifts in physiology that make you healthier and less dependent on pharmaceutical help.

We listen to your story and provide options for changing your physiology as you change your relationship to your story. It happens all the time. We are not guaranteeing cure but we do guarantee you will learn a lot in this class, acquire tools that allow you to be in control of your situation, discover ways to manage your condition and the factors in your life that are exacerbating your situation, and quite possibly, come off some of your medication. GO for it! Join us for a "Better way to feel better".

IT'S HAPPENING

Wow, the information available on CCSVI on the internet is truly amazing! I have to admit: I did not research this topic as well as I could have. I did not read the study from Poland before my procedure. I did not realize all the excitement combined with incredible knowledge that is coming out of Georgetown. I am just reading them now and I can hardly contain myself. There is so much data available on CCSVI from around the world. I acted more on a deep gut feeling that CCSVI was real and was my path to healing. I was a little desperate as I felt myself sliding over the last year and didn't feel right with the auto-immune drugs. CCSVI just made sense to me; really good sense. Now reading the data, I am so excited for huge numbers of people to get healed/opened/freed! After doing a little research, it seems that nearly all people with definite MS have CCSVI. It also seems that people with MS who have the procedure have less flairs over time and a better quality of life. Some get a lo...

Connecting to the World

This is a picture from the Eucalyptus Grove At UCSD -- my dogs' favorite walk. Upon our return from our adventure, I read this from Buddhist psychologist, Rick Hanson. I really resonate with this aspect of connection. Connecting is in 3 directions -- inside with oneself, with others and with the world. When we strengthen one direction, we simultaneously strengthen our general connection. This is guidance to connect more deeply with the world. What makes you feel connected? I'd like to know.   Are we really so separate? The Practice   Love the world. Why?   Your brain evolved in three stages (to simplify a complex process): Reptile - Brainstem, focused on AVOIDING harm Mammal - Limbic system, focused on APPROACHING rewards Primate - Cortex, focused on ATTACHING to "us" With a fun use (to me, at least) of animal themes, the first JOT in this series -  pet the lizard  - was about how to soothe the most ancient structures of the...
